Serving the country is the best decision one could ever decide in his life. Serving the country could mean working in government, becoming a politician, or enlisting in the military to defend the constitution and protect lives and properties.

Matthew Hartman, who is a native of Richmond, Virginia, has been dreaming to join the army ever since he was young. Two years after his high school graduation, Hartman decided to finally fulfill his dream but Col. Sterling Stokes as well as some of the military staff has convinced him to proceed to college first to make emotionally and professionally prepared when he join the army for good reasons. Just like other disciplined students Hartman followed their advice. Hartman is a junior student at the Franklin Military Academy where the principal is also Mr. Stokes. He said it was actually Mr. Stokes who persuaded saying he could serve the army more if he is a college graduate. During the 2008 National Chemistry Olympiad he has shown his prowess in the competition and obtained the highest score.

The Franklin Military Academy is greatly a part of the ever growing program of the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC). In fact, the Department of Defense is helping fund academies like Franklin to be able to become a growing military school in the country.

In 1916, it was the former secretary of state Gen. Colin Powell who was instrumental in the JROTC program. He is also accredited for the advancement of the program today in the greater American territory. He is also behind the program which doubled in 1992 when he persuaded then President George H.W. Bush. The program reportedly doubled from 1,500 up to 3,500.

In Virginia, Supt. Richard Hunter and the Richmond School Board were able to conceptualize the academy which is now famous for Franklin Military Academy, dubbed as the first military academy in the country. In 1980, it started with 130 freshmen to join the academy and the number keeps growing as people realize the need to strengthen the military forces of the US because of many threats of terrorism. Thereafter, academies like the St. Louis as well as the Sandy Hook in New Jersey also open its doors for many interested people.

Many parents now are accepting the military school idea in the US and other countries in Europe due to the fact that many traditional institutions are losing their might as far as properly disciplining the bad behavioral pattern of the new generation kids. Psychologists leveled this information and observation as a result of many bad influences in schools, televisions, and other forms of periodicals which tend to destroy the young minds of many children. Parents said military schools are now better alternatives for busy parents who cannot afford to impose harsh penalties to their children.

There are good observations that students in military schools for kids perform better in many school activities as well as in academic subjects because they have strictly implemented school rules and regulations as far as students study habits and discipline. This is the main reason why many parents are now open to the ideas of military schools and accept the realities that today’s children are far different than the students twenty years ago. This means there is really a break down in traditional schools as far as imposing the proper discipline among student’s behavioral patterns. Based on studies conducted by reliable organizations, students in private schools perform better and behave well as compared to students in public schools. There maybe factors why this problem exists in schools that are operated by the government. Among them is the problem that public schools are enrolled by many students and overcrowded classrooms are always the main concerns of teachers in these places.

Military schools for kids are not very effective in third world countries and this maybe the reason why these countries also experience problems in regards to taking good care of the attitude problems of many students. The bad behavioral patterns of many children in public schools as observed by many psychologists also go back to the old problems in these families that their concentration is focused in getting the food they can give to their children and the responsibilities of imposing disciplines are now forgotten. This simply resulted to the surge of elementary children having these type of bad behavioral patterns.

Enrolling yourself in a military academy in the United States and other progressive countries in Europe can be a very exciting career too. However, you must know properly the qualifications in each country. There are countries whose requirements are so hard to meet. In the case of the United States, the country has the most effective and reasonable program for applicants. In fact, even if you’re not really a true-blooded American as long as you are already a US citizen, you can qualify too. Isn’t that sounds great? For applicants in military academies across the US territory you can apply for financial aid too if you think financial status is bothering you from joining. For example, you want to enroll in Massanutten Military Academy in Woodstock, Virginia, the school has sets of requirements too for you to be able to avail of the so-called financial aid for financially hard-up students. The tuition rate for this school is $24,664 for 2008-2009. For students joining between September and April, the tuition is prorated whole year round. The tuition fee rate of the school does not include allowance, optional fees, books and special activities. Students are also going to pay application fee of $50, non-refundable fee of $1000 for enrollment as the cadet’s space reservation. This $1000 according to shall be applied in the cadet’s tuition. There is available financial aid for students. However, both financial aids and scholarships are not acceptable during summer classes. The Massanutten Military Academy is applying the FACTS services. This is among the largest financial aid institution, grant and tuition management service company.

Your dream to join the United States military is not really a big deal as financial aid institutions are always a go-to help line for many students having financial difficulties. You just need to choose the best companies which can serve your purpose all the way. The Massanutten Military Academy in Virgina is one of the top military schools in the country which adhere to policies that are pro-students and based on the tenets of the education principles of the US government. This means joining the military forces and serving the highest good of all the Americans in the country is really among the exciting professional courses you can get in the country. The United States is always the home of top schools worldwide for military-driven individuals wanting to serve the army and defend the constitution of the United States of America.

Here in the United States, there are several military schools that have existed. Most of these military schools are a preparatory stage for young individuals who will be pursuing a higher military educational training in the different military academies for a military career but as well, this educational learning institutes are also available for young individuals whose parents wants their children to be academically educated in a military manner. Since, most of the parents believe that this military school is a good venue to help their children acquire leadership skills that lead them to become good and responsible individuals in society with the potential to lead other people. No wonder that there are several parents who really wants there children to be educated in the different military teen boarding school in the country.

Most of the military schools that have existed in the country are the private which are usually owned by the religious sectors or catholic religious sectors because this will be their way in continuing to spread their faith in the younger generation. One of the military religious boarding schools that had been existed over the past years was the Benedictine Military School that had been located in Savannah, Georgia. This military school had been flocked by several sets of catholic young male learners coming from the different areas in Georgia. Since, this school had been known that provides a good quality of military educational and religious services to their learners. In which, most of the learners who have graduated in this educational learning institutes have testified that things they have learned in their school help them to excel in all areas in their lives even though they haven’t pursue a military career but still they have continue to apply the things they have learned in the military education which is the leadership program.

Benedictine Military School was owned by the Benedictine priest orders of the Roman Catholic Church. This school is a combination of both religious and military educational training. No wonder that their learners are taught how to pray and spiritual facts or practices about the Catholic Church and at the same time, the young learners were also educational trained in a military concept which is bounded by responsibility, honor, courage, commitment and service to others and to the nation. In that way, it is very much expected that the learners who will be graduated in this school will really become a good assets in the society as being a good leader and an obedient citizens.

Over the past years, military education system in the United States had been establish in order to sustain the stability of the military defense system of the nation especially that there are some threats on the national security. In that case, the different military training institutes must give a good educational training to their students in order to become a higher caliber soldiers in the future. Also, some military training institutes have also been establish not just for the reason of strengthening the military defense system but for the purpose of developing oneself in order to become assets for societal change or transformation. For that reason there are several individuals or parents who are very much incline to enroll their children to the prep military schools in the country.

With the vast increase of the enrollees in the prep military schools, it leads to establish more prep military educational learning institutes in order to cater this numerous enrollees. Aside of the establishing a military prep educational institutes, there are also planning to establish a military flight instruction school. The plan of including to build this type of educational learning institutes had came along because of the fact that there are several individuals who are very much incline to become pilots especially pilots in the military defense system. This observation was based on the career survey that had been conducted to the different high school individuals who will be graduating and planning to take up a career course program.

With that case, the planning of Georgia Military College Foundation of establishing a prep military educational learning institutes and military flight instruction educational learning institutes will be a great venue for several individuals to pursue a military career and improve their self to become assets for societal change. As a result, it will also help in strengthening and increasing the military educational learning system in the nation.

The United States government takes special emphases and prime focus towards the educational learning and training in the medical military school in the country. The government had seen that this type of educational learning institutes is very much important upon maintaining the stability or strong foundation and structure of the medical team in the military institution that positively affects the whole military defense system. Since the medical team are the individuals who have given the responsibility to cater the well being of every military personnel’s and help in preserving their lives especially if wars occurred. In which, it produces of several military casualties. In that case, the medical military school in US is very much important because it will give an extraordinary training for the medical students to give immediate attention during emergency cases.

This medical military school gives a different educational learning and training to their medical military students compare to the typical medical schools. In which, this medical military educational institutions will usually trained their students in a fast and rigid manner. In that case, it will help the students to develop their actions and mind to become focus in their works especially as they became military physicians or doctors. In which, the military medial personnel’s are expected to give immediate care, and treatment to the wounded or injured military personnel because of the war that had happen. One of the best military medical schools that have practice the military training is the Uniformed Services University (USU). These military medical learning institutes trained and educate the medical students through the use of simulation virtual device. In which, there is a virtual simulator or online simulator that illustrate a wounded or injured soldiers that needs to be treated and the learner will do a virtual treatment. In that case, it allows the students to get to use in dealing towards challenging situation.

Through the help of this virtual simulator, it allows the students to become effective in their medical career. In which, when they have finally become military doctors they can easily face the medical challenges that it entails such as giving immediate treatment and care to wounded soldier in order to save its life and to deal on to the natural disasters and serious illness. It is already quite clear that the medical military school played an important role in the society especially in the military defense system. As well, this military medical school had also been acknowledged as one of the type of military schools in US.

I am a father of three very smart kids in California. I have to tell this story because as a father myself I am sort of very proud to their achievements.

My lovely wife Lutt was really upset every time she was left at home because my three kids who were in their younger years at that time in 1978 were very naughty and they always quarrel with each other. I cannot also find time to discipline them while they were very young because I was so busy and occupied with my job. I was a division chief at that time of a very big liquor company in California. But occasionally during Sunday when we had time together we ate out and took some unwinding in the many theme parks we have visited. I noticed that my kids were kind of fascinated in sports. The eldest John would always love to shoot a ball, Mark also liked to play chess and my youngest son Alfredo would always love to do some billiards.

When they were already in their high school years, I took the decision of enrolling them in a military school. I was thinking that because they were very naughty and smart kids they would do well when they become members of the United States army. That was really my idea of introducing them to a military school so that they can have more time to decide to themselves to do service to the country. At least, when they become members of America’s elite forces, there would be big chances of changing their attitudes.

Later, I was kind of amazed when I saw my kids joining sports activities. In fact, my eldest became a varsity player in the school. When I chanced upon them and watch their game in the school I was more excited because they have become sportsmen like me. I thought they would become bad attitude youngsters in the streets.

I know I was not able to properly discipline my kids because of very limited time. Without me knowing they would still change their bad behaviors. Now I realized how important it would be if we would enroll our kids in a military school. Truly, the mission of the school to help teens and parents is what made me decide to enroll them without discussing further the cost it would take me.

The value formation which is supposed to be inculcated in every child is becoming a non-existent thing. Many children are now acting improperly. They’ve been giving headaches to their parents. The current dilemma in many homes has left parents puzzled on what to do to correct their kids and who can help them?

Instead of shaping the bad habits of their children while they are enrolled in public schools the problems seems to grow everyday. Many parents have been lately noticing their children not to be acting right. The new generation of today is now very demanding, lazy, arrogant, and are controlling their parents in many different ways.

The military school is one kind of institution committed to help parents to discipline their children through a proven method and school education program. The school does not only focus on academic programs like in many normal schools. It has also a very different approach on education geared towards the full development of every student enrolled in a military school.

Today’s troubled teens that are badly influenced by the modernization of the world are amongst the clients in military schools. That is why many parents are now considering of enrolling their kids in military schools. The tuition fees are very reasonable so that most of the parents can afford every semester.

Troubled teens are usually enrolled in military schools to prepare them for college life. Many military schools are also boarding schools where students are in house. They live in dorms and student villages with 24/7 security personnel watching them.

The military schools life is also a very exciting one where enrolled students also have some excursions, bible readings, sport fest and all other approaches to make their stay more relevant to the goals of military schools.

The professors in military schools are goal-driven and they can execute the best education approaches for the good benefits of students. In this way, the expectations of many parents will have assurances that it will be met in due time.

Children often have only a low self-esteem – at the latest when they reach puberty at public schools. They feel uncomfortable with themselves and are in search of a role model. They often feel lost because they have to start making important decisions concerning to their future career on their own. Also they are troubled with the pressure on school which takes important time the children could have used to think calmly about their future and their goals in life. Another factor for a low self-esteem could be a certain disorientation in life and a complicated background.

In fact – at an early age children start to influence not just their career but also their lives. But how is a child supposed to do that in a proper way when feeling insecure?

Often it just helps to give a child a structure so that it has the time to concentrate on more important things. Unfortunately most children and also their parents have problems with finding such a structure – even more with a consequent practice of it. In case a child motivated to change it’s lifestyle but is not able to reach this without help the attendance of a military school could be a solution for this issue.

Military schools are often also boarding schools. There the children have a structure from the first day on. First of all such a structure keeps the students grounded. Due to certain pressure fells off from them and they are now able to concentrate fully on important things like their school education. Children get better in what they do and gain more self-confidence.

In a military school it is not just about a military education, basically it is about the preparation of life. An important part of the military school education is for example teamwork. And there children not only learn to work in a team. This is more about learning to accept, tolerate understand and deal with opinions and characters that are different to theirs.

After their time at a military school, children come home changed. They continue living with a structured everyday life because they have learned which advantages this involves. Also they are confident and open-minded and have highly-developed people skills. They are aware of the consequences of their actions and act well-advised. Before attending a military school they had barely any idea what to head for. Afterwards they are confident enough to make decisions and there are able to concentrate on reaching their goals.

Besides the personal development the children get a proper education in general. As undisciplined and bad behaviour and the disrespect of rules and authorities is not accepted at military schools you can be sure, that the students fully focus on their education – intellectually and physically. This offers the possibilities to go to a high school and also to choose a successful military career.

Either way, a period at a military school supports the development of personal skills and clears the way for a successful personal and job-related future.
