Military career: salary
On his or her first military job, a full time soldier is paid 44% of an average salary. This payment begins when the military training starts. For every year of tenure in the military career, a soldier's salary is raised by 3%. For every increase in major rank along the military career, a soldier's salary is raised by 50%. Intermediate rank-related pay raises can be regularized, to reflect increases in minor rank.
