With the military’s thousands of vehicles transport of personnel and cargoes, supplies and other things is not a problem. There are about 50,000 buses and heavy trucks that operate daily based on military records. The vehicle drivers who are enlisted personnel in the military spearhead the operation of these heavy trucks for transport services.


The usual duties and responsibilities of Vehicle drivers in the military organization include:

• Read daily travel routes to determine time of travel and arrival of cargoes and personnel

• Check whether transporting vehicles are loaded properly

• Conduct checking of fluid levels, tire pressure and oil

• Direct in driving all vehicles and travel in all weather condition

• Maintain the vehicles regularly through washing and other routine maintenance

The civilian vehicle drivers work in industrial and manufacturing firms, hospitals, private and government agencies. Their duties and functions are only the same with that of the military.
