The Dentists are considered Officers in the military organization and they are responsible in implementing dental services in the military bases to keep the health care needs of military personnel and officers. The dentists do the actual tooth extraction assisted by his dental specialists.
Role
The usual duties and responsibilities of Dentists in the military organization include:
Direct in the examination of patients in regard to their teeth problems or whether they have tooth decay
Make examination of x-ray to identify which teeth of the patients are affected by tooth decay
Identify and put fill on tooth cavities so that it would be well again
Direct in oral surgery to patients gums, and jaws to personally identify the problems of the patients
Replace extracted teeth to brace, retainers and for strengthening teeth
Make planning on dental health programs so that his patients in the military bases will have proper guidance on the importance of taking care of their teeth
